These are strange times and many of us are feeling helpless and want to do something meaningful, something that will make even a small difference. 

Below are several ways you can touch someone's heart, make them feel cared for and less alone and isolated.

in-person Projects You Can Do Right Now!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT MSU - PACK POWERSACKS

Volunteers will be working OUTSIDE (rain or shine) to assemble power sacks - a bag of non-perishable food items to feed a family of four for the weekend. The bags are then distributed to the students on Friday afternoons to take home to their families

MEALS ON WHEELS DELIVERY

Deliver meals to seniors who anticipate the healthy lunch and the comforting smile of a volunteer each delivery day.  This simple act helps to ensure these seniors stay safe, healthy and happy in their own homes.  You may be the only visitor clients see each day and your contact with them is so important to their spirit and wellbeing.

FOOD BANK OF THE ROCKIES

Distribution of pre-packaged food at mobile food pantries across metro Denver. N  CSFP (also a food distribution site) is a few blocks from the main warehouse.

Our priority is always to make lives better and to help those in need. We can't do that if we are sick.

 

Due to COVID-19,

all in-person programs are limited to five people and will follow all recommended

 safety guidelines

NEWBORNS IN NEED - DENVER HEALTH

Volunteers will assemble "Warm Welcome" bags, inventory other donations and help with re-stocking.  Minimum age to volunteer is 6 years old - WITH PARENT.
