Through both on-going activities and our annual 3-Day Weekend of Action,
PROJECT OUR TOWN creates opportunities for volunteers to participate in meaningful,
impactful projects that serve the community.

The Mission of PROJECT OUR TOWN is to:

WEEKEND OF ACTION
In November, every year, we celebrate the powerful, dynamic impact of volunteerism by bringing hundreds of people together for a weekend of service. Packed with three buzz-worthy days of humanitarian bliss, PROJECT OUR TOWN invites volunteers of every age, neighborhood, and demographic to come together to support important causes through meaningful service projects.
This year, our Weekend of Action will look very different! Because of the effects of COVID-19, life is different for our volunteers, our agencies, and the recipients of the work. With the safety guidelines changing and uncertain, we do not know what our 2020 Weekend of Action will look like yet.
The goal of the weekend has always been about making a lasting impact, not only on many worthy organizations, causes, and individuals, but also on the volunteers themselves. Our plan is to fuel the generosity and spirit of doing for others in new and different, but still significant, worthwhile, and lasting ways.

There are many ways to be a part of this amazing movement. We have on-going volunteer opportunities available NOW and plan to continue to have as many opportunities as possible going forward.
We are following the CDC, WHO, and Colorado State Guidelines closely. We are slowing adding in some in-person projects and will continue to adjust as circumstances allow. Our commitment is to make it a meaningful experience for you. Our goal is to provide something for anyone who has the desire to make a real difference in our community.
